副词可以修饰动词丶形容词丶副词，加以描述某个字词。副词大部分修饰动词，传达某件事情发生的方式丶频率丶时间和地点等，位置摆在修饰的动词后面。
举例
- The bus moved slowly.
- The bears ate greedily.
- The car drove fast.
有时候副词也会修饰形容词，例如加强或弱化整体的意思。

- You are very persistent.
